Welcome! We are so glad you're here. Just as mycelium nurtures the forest by sharing nutrients and connecting the roots, The Mycelium Connection is a space built on the belief that we all thrive when we care for one another.
To keep our community a beautiful, supportive place for everyone to grow, we ask all our members to join us in this Code of Conduct:
1. Lead with Love and Kindness
We are a community of people helping people. Whether you are a practitioner sharing your gift or a seeker looking for a path, please let your interactions be guided by kindness. We believe that words have power — power to lift others up, offer encouragement, and spread warmth.
2. Celebrate Every Journey
Our community is a beautiful tapestry of different backgrounds, beliefs, and paths. We celebrate this diversity! We ask that you respect the unique journey of every member. Even when we see the world differently, we remain united in our respect for one another's humanity and acknowledge that there are many beautiful ways to heal and grow.
3. Support the Whole Ecosystem
We are here to help everyone flourish. We believe in a world where there is enough room for everyone to shine. When you see someone doing good work, give them a digital "cheer." By supporting each other, we make the entire ecosystem stronger and more vibrant.
4. A Positive Environment
To keep this a sanctuary of positivity, we kindly ask that you leave negativity and unfriendliness at the door. To ensure everyone feels safe and welcome, we don't allow:
- Disrespectful or unkind language.
- Public criticism or hostility toward others.
- Anything that disrupts the friendly, peaceful spirit we've built together.
5. Trust and Transparency
Our community is built on trust. We ask that we all show up with integrity — being honest about our offerings and sincere in our connections. This transparency allows our "mycelium" to stay strong and healthy.
5a. Seekers and Providers
Our community holds two kinds of members, and each has its own promise:
- Seekers join freely and are here to explore. We ask that you use the space as a member and not as a marketplace — please don't use your profile or private messages to advertise or sell. If you would like to promote your work, you are warmly invited to apply as a Provider.
- Providers are reviewed by hand before joining, and carry the trust of the whole network. We ask that you describe your practice honestly, hold the qualifications and insurance appropriate to what you offer, keep your listings accurate and current, avoid claims to cure, treat or diagnose, and treat every seeker who reaches out with care — whether or not they become a client.
6. Nurturing the Network
We want The Mycelium Connection to be a place you truly love to spend time in. In the spirit of caring for the whole group, we reserve the right to gently remove any member or listing that isn't able to follow these guidelines. This helps us ensure the soil stays rich and supportive for everyone else.
Our Collective Promise
